Shipping

Can I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number once you've completed your purchase. If you made your purchase with one of our team members, they will send a follow up email with the tracking number attached. 

Do you ship internationally?

We ship internationally to select countries, shipping time vary dramatically. We are not responsible for import taxes, duties and paperwork of your respective country, so please check with your local laws and regulations regarding importing of our products. Global shipments can be held by your country through customs. They do not notify us, or you when this happens. There may be delays up to 6 weeks depending on the country.  For this reason we recommend using DHL or UPS to help expedite this process as we have noticed faster transit times thru customs using these carriers.

Can I expedite my order?

If you want your order to arrive faster you can choose Priority at checkout. This shipping method only takes 2 business days.

Do I have to pay for packaging or handling fees?

Our shipping fees include packaging, handling and postage. Handling fees are fixed, whereas postage varies depending on the package’s weight.

Where do you ship from?

We ship out of our office in Berkeley, CA.

Returns

My item was damaged upon receipt. What do I do?

If your jewelry arrived damaged please email info@tetherjewelry.com immediately with your order number. We will send you a replacement right away.

What is your return policy?

I received my order and it's not the right product. What do I do?

Very sorry - we are just getting started and are constantly improving our operations. Please send us an email with a photo of the items in error, and we will provide instructions for return. Of course, we will cover any shipping costs incurred.

What is your jewelry made of?

All of our clickers are cast from 316L stainless steel. All of our ear lockets and weights are cast using high-quality bronze.

What is PVD?

PVD is a high-temperature coating process that is fully automated, and takes place in a sealed vacuum system. This method to deposit and build thin layers of vaporized metal condensation onto a surface. This process creates a super hard, stable, and beautiful color coating. It uses no harsh chemicals, make no waste products and provides a safer working environment. PVD coatings are safe to handle, non-toxic and biocompatible.

What is Ion Plating? How long does it last

Ion plating is a type of physical vapor deposition (PVD) process which a single or multi-layer coatings can be applied during the same process cycle. Because it uses high heat and real gold metal vapor,  Ion plated jewelry is proven to last longer than electroplated jewelry. Durability of the coating depends on the maintenance, environmental conditions and other factors.

    Bronze and gold electro-plated bronze products:

    Our Genesis locket collection are cast from high quality bronze. Bronze jewelry may oxidize over time. Gently remove the residue with a soft cloth saturated in jewelry cleanser that is safe to use on gold or rubbing alcohol. Do not scrub. Allow it to dry completely. We recommend taking jewelry out before showering to maximize the lifespan of your bronze and gold plated bronze jewelry.

    What other size clickers do you offer?

    We have found after years of trial and error that 14 gauge is the minimum thickness required for a strong and solid hinge for our clickers. Therefore, we only offer 14 gauge at the moment. 

    Can our products be used in new piercings or to stretch piercings?

    We recommend our jewelry be worn in healed piercings only. 

    Do your products contain Nickel?

    316L contains 10-13% nickel. If you have a sensitivity to nickel, you should not wear this product.  If you experience a reaction while wearing our products, you should stop wearing it immediately.

    My size is out of stock.
